In a humanitarian initiative aimed at fostering social solidarity and corporate social responsibility, the Engineering College – University of Kerbala organized a visit to a senior citizens’ home in Karbala Governorate. This was sponsored by the esteemed Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Haydar Nazim Aziz, and overseen by the Student Activities Unit.
Several faculty members and staff from the college participated in the visit. They provided essential aid and learned about the needs of the elderly, as well as spending quality time with them to create a welcoming atmosphere and offer psychological and moral support.
The staff at the home expressed their profound gratitude and appreciation for this kind initiative, emphasizing the importance of such visits in boosting the morale of the residents and reinforcing their sense of belonging and social care.
